Abstract: Abstract of the Monograph Secondary Four Therapeutic Novices' Attitudes towards the Fostering of Scholar Autonomy through a Task-based Categorize Pop out submitted by Cheung Get Pale The thing indicated monograph is a qualitative thought exploring twenty-four S. 4 therapeutic novices' interpretations of autonomous learning and task-based learning and their resolves and attitudes towards doing a task-based pop out to develop scholar autonomy. Based on early studies, it is believed that novices will develop positive attitudes towards autonomous learning through pop out application. The thought focused on a categorize pop out aiming to welcome twenty-five Singaporean novices in an exchange programme in Shall 2005. As a joint educate function, the pop out involved twelve subjects from a local English (EMI) junior high educate and the other twelve from a neighbouring Chinese-medium (CMI) one. The detail were drawn from three organs-- naturalistic knowledges, broadcast compact disks with follow-up records and first-year student calendars throughout the pop out. The findings suggested that most novices had undergone positive advances in apprehendings towards both task-based and autonomous learning after experiencing their merits in the ten-lesson module. Their resolves in doing the pop out also gradually became more achievement oriented. They generally believed that the pop out was effective in developing scholar autonomy. Despite the snags of span, tedious thought operations and subjects' initial objection to broadcast compact disks, the pop out was successfully implemented. It is suggested that the thing indicated thought could shed light on the prospects for promoting scholar autonomy through innovative pop out application. ix DOI: 10. 5353/th_b3192758 Subjects: Scholar autonomyProject system in teaching - Crockery - Hong KongEnglish speech - Thought and teaching (Secondary) - Crockery - Hong KongHigh educate seniors - Crockery - Hong Kong - Attitudes.
